While he’s not exactly setting the goals and assists sheets on fire at Osasuna, Bryan Zaragoza’s loan spell with the La Liga side from Bayern Munich has been highly beneficial for the Spaniard. Under previous Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel after his move to the Rekordmeister from Granada was expedited from last winter from the summer, he never really got the proper chances to show why his move was pushed forward and became increasingly frustrated with his severe lack of minutes.

At Osasuna, Zaragoza is a regular starter, and he has been a consistent performer for Vicente Moreno’s side that currently sit in 10th place in the La Liga table. Personally, Zaragoza has made a total of 15 appearances across all competitions for Osasuna so far this season, all of which have been in the league as he did not take part in their two Copa Del Rey matches. He has tallied a goal and five assists from said appearances, the majority of which have been starts, though he has been recovering from an ankle injury in recent weeks.
Despite how well things have gone with Osasuna thus far, it does not look like Bryan will have a future there once his loan spell is up at the end of this season. Per information from Spanish football journalist Uxue Martinez (via @iMiaSanMia), Osasuna feel that the winger would be too expensive for them to keep on a long-term basis. They initially paid Bayern a 250-thousand-euro loan fee and he earns a salary of 2.5 million euros per year, which makes him unaffordable for the club.
After his loan spell at Osasuna is over at the end of the season, Zaragoza will return to Bayern in the summer and his future will be decided at that point. Bayern has already signaled that they are ready to revamp the wing positions, so it could be a scenario where they feel Zaragoza could have a future with the club under Vincent Kompany. It does not seem likely that it would be possible for Bayern to sell the player to Osasuna, as the latter would not be able to offer a feasible fee, but perhaps another loan spell could be agreed upon.
